Epson L3107 Reset Waste Ink Counter
A waste ink counter warning can prevent Epson L3107 from printing even when the printer is otherwise working normally. Follow the checks and reset sequence below to restore operation safely.
The counter behind the Epson L3107 warning
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson L3107 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L3107. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L3107
Complete these steps in order. A direct USB connection and the original Epson driver are essential for reliable communication.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L3107 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L3107 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3107.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L3107 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for L3107; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.

The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
Can I reset Epson L3107 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.

No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
