Epson ET-M2120 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.

Reset the counter in Epson ET-M2120
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for ET-M2120 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson ET-M2120 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ET-M2120.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson ET-M2120 is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Install the original Epson driver for ET-M2120; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
