Canon TS708 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
What stops Canon TS708 from printing
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon TS708 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.

How to enter service mode on Canon TS708
- Turn the printer off.

Connect Canon TS708 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS708 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
