Canon TS3640 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon TS3640 can stop printing when its internal ink absorber counter reaches a programmed threshold. Follow the model-specific preparation below before using Wic Reset Connect.
The waste ink counter inside Canon TS3640
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon TS3640 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS3640. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS3640
- Turn the printer off.

Reset the counter in Canon TS3640

Resolve other errors, confirm a steady power light and enter service mode using the sequence above.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS3640 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS3640 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Connect Canon TS3640 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
