Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson NX215
An ink pad message is a maintenance safeguard. It indicates that Epson NX215 has reached a stored waste ink value that must be reset before normal printing can resume.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson NX215. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson NX215
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for NX215 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson NX215 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson NX215.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson NX215 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Install the original Epson driver for NX215; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
