Epson WF-7511 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson WF-7511 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
The counter behind the Epson WF-7511 warning
Epson WF-7511 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.

Reset the counter in Epson WF-7511
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for WF-7511 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson WF-7511 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson WF-7511.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson WF-7511 is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.

How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.

No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
