Canon MG3610 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
Why Canon MG3610 reports an absorber error
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon MG3610 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MG3610. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon MG3610
- Turn the printer off.

- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
