Epson NX200 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson NX200 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
The counter behind the Epson NX200 warning
Epson NX200 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson NX200. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson NX200
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for NX200 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson NX200 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson NX200.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson NX200 is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Install the original Epson driver for NX200; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.

Can I reset Epson NX200 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
Does Epson NX200 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
