Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson S22 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson S22. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson S22
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for S22 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson S22 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson S22.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson S22 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
