Reset the counter in Epson L3070
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L3070 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L3070 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3070.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L3070 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for L3070; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.

What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
Does Epson L3070 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
