Canon MB5060 Ink Absorber Full Reset

An absorber warning on Canon MB5060 does not necessarily mean that the printer is mechanically damaged. The software counter and the physical pads must be considered separately.

The problem

What the Canon MB5060 service message means

Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon MB5060 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.

Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MB5060. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
