Model-specific reset guide
Epson T60 Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson T60 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
The counter behind the Epson T60 warning
The printer protects against possible ink overflow by monitoring an internal service counter. On Epson T60, reaching the threshold can trigger an ink pad warning and block further jobs.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson T60. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson T60
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.
-
Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for T60 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.
-
Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson T60 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.
-
Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson T60.
-
Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson T60 is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
