Epson T24 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson T24 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson T24
The printer protects against possible ink overflow by monitoring an internal service counter. On Epson T24, reaching the threshold can trigger an ink pad warning and block further jobs.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson T24. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson T24
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for T24 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson T24 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson T24.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson T24 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for T24; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.

Does Epson T24 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
