Epson L3207 Reset Waste Ink Counter
A waste ink counter warning can prevent Epson L3207 from printing even when the printer is otherwise working normally. Follow the checks and reset sequence below to restore operation safely.
The counter behind the Epson L3207 warning
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson L3207 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L3207. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L3207
Correct preparation protects the reset key from being used during a failed communication attempt. Verify each requirement before selecting Reset.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L3207 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L3207 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3207.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L3207 is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.

What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
