Epson L3110 Reset Waste Ink Counter
When Epson L3110 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
What the Epson L3110 service message means
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson L3110 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L3110. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L3110
Correct preparation protects the reset key from being used during a failed communication attempt. Verify each requirement before selecting Reset.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L3110 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L3110 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3110.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L3110 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for L3110; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.

How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
Can I reset Epson L3110 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
