Canon TS9100 Ink Absorber Full Reset
If Canon TS9100 displays an ink absorber full or service-required warning, the stored waste ink counter may have reached its limit. This guide covers service mode, USB preparation and the reset itself.
Before resetting Canon TS9100
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TS9100 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS9100. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS9100
- Turn the printer off.

Connect Canon TS9100 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS9100 is not detected
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
