Epson XP-530 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
Understanding the Epson XP-530 waste ink warning
Epson XP-530 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.

Reset the counter in Epson XP-530

Connect Epson XP-530 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson XP-530.

Inserisci la chiave acquistata, scegli Reset e mantieni la stampante collegata fino al completamento.

- Se la stampante non viene rilevata, prova un’altra porta USB e un cavo USB noto per supportare il trasferimento dati.
- Chiudi Epson Status Monitor e qualsiasi altro software di manutenzione Epson prima di avviare Wic Reset Connect.
- Collega la stampante direttamente al computer. Non utilizzare Wi-Fi, hub USB, docking station o server di stampa.
- Esegui Wic Reset Connect come amministratore e mantieni attiva la connessione Internet per tutta la convalida.

Does Epson XP-530 need service mode?
