Epson L3277 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson L3277 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
Before resetting Epson L3277
An ink pad message is a maintenance safeguard. It indicates that Epson L3277 has reached a stored waste ink value that must be reset before normal printing can resume.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L3277. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L3277
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L3277 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L3277 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3277.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L3277 is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.

No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
