Epson ET-2405 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.

Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson ET-2405 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.

Reset the counter in Epson ET-2405

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ET-2405.

- Install the original Epson driver for ET-2405; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
