Model-specific reset guide
Epson T40W Reset Waste Ink Counter
When Epson T40W reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
Understanding the Epson T40W waste ink warning
Every cleaning cycle sends a small amount of ink to the waste ink system. Epson T40W adds that activity to its counter and displays a maintenance warning when the programmed threshold is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson T40W. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
