Reset the counter in Epson PX-434A
Complete these steps in order. A direct USB connection and the original Epson driver are essential for reliable communication.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for PX-434A and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson PX-434A to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson PX-434A.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson PX-434A is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
