Canon TS5120 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon TS5120 can stop printing when its internal ink absorber counter reaches a programmed threshold. Follow the model-specific preparation below before using Wic Reset Connect.
Understanding the Canon TS5120 ink absorber warning
The lock is based on accumulated maintenance activity. Resetting Canon TS5120 changes the counter value but does not remove ink already held in the absorber material.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS5120. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS5120
- Turn the printer off.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.

- Connect Canon TS5120 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
