Epson TX219 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson TX219 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
Why Epson TX219 stops printing
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson TX219 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson TX219. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson TX219
Start with the connection checks below, then run the reset without opening other printer programs during the process.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for TX219 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson TX219 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson TX219.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson TX219 is not detected
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.

Does Epson TX219 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
Can I reset Epson TX219 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
