Epson T59 Reset Waste Ink Counter
When Epson T59 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
Before resetting Epson T59
The printer protects against possible ink overflow by monitoring an internal service counter. On Epson T59, reaching the threshold can trigger an ink pad warning and block further jobs.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson T59. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson T59
Correct preparation protects the reset key from being used during a failed communication attempt. Verify each requirement before selecting Reset.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for T59 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson T59 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson T59.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson T59 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for T59; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.

Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
Can I reset Epson T59 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
Does Epson T59 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
