Epson L605 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L605 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect Epson L605 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L605.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L605 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
