Model-specific reset guide
Epson L355 Réinitialiser le compteur d'encre usagée
If your Epson L355 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
What the Epson L355 service message means
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson L355 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L355. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L355
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the official Epson driver for L355 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.
-
Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L355 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.
-
Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L355.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L355 is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Install the original Epson driver for L355; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
