Canon TS9140 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon TS9140 can stop printing when its internal ink absorber counter reaches a programmed threshold. Follow the model-specific preparation below before using Wic Reset Connect.
Before resetting Canon TS9140
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TS9140 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS9140. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS9140
- Turn the printer off.

- Press and release Stop/Reset 5 fois.

Reset the counter in Canon TS9140
First make sure the power indicator is steady and no cartridge or mechanical error is active. Then prepare the Windows computer and direct USB connection.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS9140 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.

- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
