The problem

Before resetting Canon MG7710

Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon MG7710 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.

Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MG7710. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

    Connect Canon MG7710 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

  3. Start Wic Reset Connect

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Finish correctly: A successful reset is finalized with a normal restart of Canon MG7710. Confirm that the power light remains steady before printing.

  • If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
