Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MG4140. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon MG4140
- Turn the printer off.

Reset the counter in Canon MG4140

Connect Canon MG4140 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon MG4140 is not detected
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
