Epson TX525FW Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson TX525FW may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
What the Epson TX525FW service message means
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson TX525FW estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson TX525FW. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson TX525FW
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson TX525FW.

Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.

- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
