Epson N11 Reset Waste Ink Counter
A waste ink counter warning can prevent Epson N11 from printing even when the printer is otherwise working normally. Follow the checks and reset sequence below to restore operation safely.
What the Epson N11 service message means
Every cleaning cycle sends a small amount of ink to the waste ink system. Epson N11 adds that activity to its counter and displays a maintenance warning when the programmed threshold is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson N11. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson N11
Start with the connection checks below, then run the reset without opening other printer programs during the process.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for N11 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson N11 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson N11.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson N11 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Install the original Epson driver for N11; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.

How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
Can I reset Epson N11 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
Does Epson N11 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
