Epson ME-330 Reset Waste Ink Counter
When Epson ME-330 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
The counter behind the Epson ME-330 warning
Epson ME-330 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson ME-330. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson ME-330
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for ME-330 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson ME-330 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ME-330.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson ME-330 is not detected
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Install the original Epson driver for ME-330; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.

Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Does Epson ME-330 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
