Model-specific reset guide
Epson CX8300 Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson CX8300 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Why Epson CX8300 stops printing
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson CX8300 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson CX8300. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
