Canon TS9110 Ink Absorber Full Reset
When Canon TS9110 triggers an ink absorber full condition, the printer may block printing as a protective measure. The solution is typically a waste ink counter reset.
During head cleaning, surplus ink is routed to internal absorber pads. Canon TS9110 monitors this via a counter and can lock printing at a threshold.
This page is prepared for Canon TS9110. Service mode instructions are shown only when a matching series procedure is known.
Common Symptoms

- Reset required to continue printing
How to Enter Service Mode on Canon TS9110
To access maintenance functions, Canon TS9110 may need to be placed in service mode first.
- Turn the printer OFF.
- Press and hold Stop/Reset.
- While holding Stop/Reset, press and hold Power.
- Release Stop/Reset (keep holding Power).
- Press Stop/Reset 5 times.
- Release Power — the printer should enter service mode.
If it doesn’t work, repeat the sequence carefully. The press count depends on the series.
Finalize the Reset and Restore Printing
Completing the reset clears the internal ink absorber counter stored in printer memory and restores normal operation.
Important Notes
Treat the reset as a maintenance step. If your printer has extremely high usage, consider cleaning/replacing absorber pads to avoid overflow.
