Canon TS9000 Ink Absorber Full Reset
When Canon TS9000 reports that the ink absorber is full, turning it off and on will not normally remove the lock. The printer must be prepared correctly and its counter reset.
Understanding the Canon TS9000 ink absorber warning
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon TS9000 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS9000. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS9000
- Turn the printer off.
- Press and hold Stop/Reset.
- While holding Stop/Reset, press and hold Power.
- Release Stop/Reset but keep holding Power.
- Press and release Stop/Reset 5 times.
- Wait briefly, then release Power. The power indicator should remain steadily lit.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS9000 is not detected
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- Connect Canon TS9000 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
