Model-specific reset guide
Canon MB2160 Ink Absorber Full Reset
If Canon MB2160 displays an ink absorber full or service-required warning, the stored waste ink counter may have reached its limit. This guide covers service mode, USB preparation and the reset itself.
Before resetting Canon MB2160
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon MB2160 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MB2160. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
