Model-specific reset guide
Canon G7040 Ink Absorber Full Reset
When Canon G7040 reports that the ink absorber is full, turning it off and on will not normally remove the lock. The printer must be prepared correctly and its counter reset.
Understanding the Canon G7040 ink absorber warning
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon G7040 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon G7040. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
