Epson EP-707A Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson EP-707A may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
Why Epson EP-707A stops printing
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson EP-707A estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson EP-707A. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson EP-707A
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for EP-707A and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson EP-707A to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson EP-707A.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson EP-707A is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Install the original Epson driver for EP-707A; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.

Does Epson EP-707A need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
Can I reset Epson EP-707A over Wi-Fi?
