Canon TS6351 Ink Absorber Full Reset
The waste ink system in Canon TS6351 collects ink used during cleaning cycles. Once the estimated limit is reached, service mode and a compatible counter reset may be required.
The waste ink counter inside Canon TS6351
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TS6351 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS6351. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS6351
- Turn the printer off.

Reset the counter in Canon TS6351
The counter reset normally takes only a few minutes after Canon TS6351 has entered service mode successfully.

Prepare the printer
Resolve other errors, confirm a steady power light and enter service mode using the sequence above.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS6351 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS6351 is not detected
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Connect Canon TS6351 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.

Does Canon TS6351 require service mode?
Yes. The printer must expose its maintenance interface before the counter can be reset with Wic Reset Connect.
What if my reset key was used during a failed attempt?
Correct the cause first, then use the new-key generator or contact support for assistance.
Does the reset clean the ink absorber?
No. It resets the stored counter. Inspect, clean or replace the absorber pads when their physical condition requires maintenance.
