Model-specific reset guide
Epson TX120 Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson TX120 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
What the Epson TX120 service message means
An ink pad message is a maintenance safeguard. It indicates that Epson TX120 has reached a stored waste ink value that must be reset before normal printing can resume.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson TX120. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson TX120
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

-
Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson TX120 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

If Epson TX120 is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Install the original Epson driver for TX120; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
