Model-specific reset guide
Epson R390 Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson R390 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Before resetting Epson R390
An ink pad message is a maintenance safeguard. It indicates that Epson R390 has reached a stored waste ink value that must be reset before normal printing can resume.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson R390. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.

The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
