Model-specific reset guide
Epson R340: Zählerstand für Resttinte zurücksetzen
If your Epson R340 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson R340
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson R340 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson R340. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
