Epson ET-2600 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
What the Epson ET-2600 service message means
The printer protects against possible ink overflow by monitoring an internal service counter. On Epson ET-2600, reaching the threshold can trigger an ink pad warning and block further jobs.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson ET-2600. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson ET-2600
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for ET-2600 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson ET-2600 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ET-2600.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson ET-2600 is not detected
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Install the original Epson driver for ET-2600; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.

No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.

The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
