Model-specific reset guide
Epson XP-405 Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson XP-405 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Why Epson XP-405 stops printing
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson XP-405 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson XP-405. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
