Epson PX-435A Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson PX-435A may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
Before resetting Epson PX-435A
Epson PX-435A uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson PX-435A. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson PX-435A
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for PX-435A and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson PX-435A to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson PX-435A.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson PX-435A is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Install the original Epson driver for PX-435A; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
