Every cleaning cycle sends a small amount of ink to the waste ink system. Epson L3114 adds that activity to its counter and displays a maintenance warning when the programmed threshold is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L3114. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L3114
Complete these steps in order. A direct USB connection and the original Epson driver are essential for reliable communication.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L3114 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L3114 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3114.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L3114 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for L3114; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
