Model-specific reset guide
Epson B40W Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson B40W has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Before resetting Epson B40W
Every cleaning cycle sends a small amount of ink to the waste ink system. Epson B40W adds that activity to its counter and displays a maintenance warning when the programmed threshold is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson B40W. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
