Epson T42WD Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson T42WD records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
The counter behind the Epson T42WD warning
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson T42WD estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson T42WD. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
