Epson PX810FW Reset Waste Ink Counter
A waste ink counter warning can prevent Epson PX810FW from printing even when the printer is otherwise working normally. Follow the checks and reset sequence below to restore operation safely.
What the Epson PX810FW service message means
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson PX810FW estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson PX810FW. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

If Epson PX810FW is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
