Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson TX103
Epson TX103 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.

Reset the counter in Epson TX103
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for TX103 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson TX103 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson TX103.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson TX103 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
